I guess it could have been worse, he could have twisted and cranked on the baby's head. The episiotomy is the part that really just floors me. He pretty much demonstrates that the perineum had plenty of room to stretch. This is a teaching video! So sad.

So disturbing. And the really sad thing is, many people will watch that and think, "Oh, what a lovely, natural birth!". UGH!!!!

I won't watch it because just seeing the clamps on the cord before the woman is even holding her baby tells me I won't like it.
